JR-Shikoku is a railway company of the Shikoku island that is the fourth largest in Japan.
They sells a special ticket for birthdays.

For three days of the birth month, we can ride a train without any restriction for 10,000 yen. We can also get on a first-class car.

August is my birth month; I'm planning a trip with the special ticket.

  2. Can I ask you a question? Is it possible to put your bike directly onto the train, without taking the wheels off? I am a female cyclist and I really don't want to take the wheels on and off the bike. Secondly, do you think it's possible to cycle around Shikoku in 2 weeks, mid march to end march 2014.

  4. The answer to first question is here.

A lap of Shikoku is approximately 1,000km.
If you adopt seaside line, you can cycle 2 weeks with sightseeing. March is still cold, but thinks that the snow does not fall.
If you bear my English, try asking more questions. lol
